Guard stone is another decorative granite slab which always stands either side of the moonstone of a traditional entrance. The main figure of the guard stone is “nagharaja” or the king Cobra. He is considered as the protecting deity of a sacred place. He is adorned with decorated paraphernalia with intricate granite carvings.
